incredible location, Indian restaurant entrance, views of Headington shark
The shower curtain definitely needs replacing!!! A deadlock that doesn't lock right is hardly comforting!!! More towels should be standard for two guests too!!!

The single room features clean bedding and a decent amount of space for a solo traveler. Located close to several breakfast cafes within a hundred yards, options abound for a hearty meal.
Not really a hotel vibe here—staff often absent, and the room reeked of mustiness, forcing me to leave the windows open for ventilation. The second-floor location provides safety, but traffic noise from the main road can be distracting. Walls feel thin. I heard my neighbor cough all night, which wasn’t ideal. The car park is tight, and on a busy evening, you might struggle to find a spot nearby. finding the entrance could use a bigger sign, especially for us tourists fresh off the hyperspace lanes.

The family room was spacious, but the bathroom was poorly maintained.

The cozy room had a good amount of storage space, a kettle for hot drinks, and a clean bathroom. Plus, its proximity to the university made it a convenient choice for quick trips.
The establishment feels more like a guest house than a hotel, with no reception after 9 PM. I noticed disturbing noise levels from the restaurant below and rooms nearby, as if they were in my space. The shower curtains were filthy, and damp patches appeared behind cupboards, making for an uncomfortable stay. I found the heating system malfunctioning—too hot to handle. Lastly, the key system allowed access to all rooms, which felt unsafe as one unfortunate incident proved when an inebriated guest mistakenly tried to enter my room.

Perfect for solo travelers on a budget
It was just what I needed after that long day. The staff always answered their phone when I needed something and the bed was really comfortable. And let me tell you, having a kettle in the room with tea options.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for the quality and location.

Loved the location – so close to shops and the hospital! The room was cozy and had everything I needed. One downside was the weak WiFi though. 😊
